Key Highlights :

Apple Koregaon Park, Pune, will open to customers on September 4, 2025, as the fourth company-owned store in India.

The store will be 10,000 sq ft with all the Apple experience products, services, Genius Bar, workshops, and a Pune cultural theme.

Key Background :

Apple’s entry into India’s retail market has been carefully planned but ambitious in nature. With the opening of its first two flagship stores in Delhi and Mumbai in 2023, the technology giant is gearing up to take its operations to Bengaluru and Pune, the importance of India as a growth driver. The September 4, 2025, opening of Apple Koregaon Park in Pune follows two days after the opening of Apple Hebbal in Bengaluru.

The store will be roughly 10,000 square feet on the first floor of the KOPA Mall, one of the newest and most expensive malls in the city. It is incredibly local in its aesthetic in terms of character, and the barricade art itself takes inspiration from the peacock, the national bird of India. Apple has localized its store design from the beginning, turning them into shopping destinations along with cultural touchstones.

Inside the store, the iconic Apple experience can be found worldwide. Shoppers will be able to view the entire Apple product universe, receive personalized advice from Specialists, and receive advice delivered from the geniuses at the Genius Bar. Business and innovative solutions will also be offered by specialist teams to allow individual consumers and businesses to derive value from the space.

One of the key features of the Apple Koregaon Park store will be the “Today at Apple” workshops. These are free workshops intended to teach customers, allow them to create, and innovate in fields such as art, photography, music, and coding. What Apple does by doing this is make its stores community venues apart from the typical store.

Apple Koregaon Park’s launch is a testament to Apple’s vision to deepen its Indian presence over the long term. The Bengaluru and Pune stores complement the Mumbai and Delhi store chain to the four that will expand to six in 2025. This expansion trajectory is in keeping with Apple’s vision for India as a top market for sales but also a base for manufacturing and innovation on a long-term basis.

As part of the festivities to commemorate the launch of the Pune store, Apple released a limited edition set of wallpapers along with an Apple Music playlist as a gesture of appreciation for the city’s culture. This thoughtful gesture beyond creating buzz further reinforces Apple’s touchpoint with local consumers, reaffirming its commitment of global excellence with local identity.
